One of Spain's best and best-known ski resorts, located in the Tena valley of the Huesca Region, Formigal is only 80km (1½ hours from Pau in France) and 150km from Zaragoza (Saragossa). Superb skiing in 4 interconnected valleys. A bustling, compact ski resort which has close links with the Austrian Tirol with which it shares that "gemütlich" atmosphere. Several Tirolean bars plus a Hotel Tirol. Using a voucher system, lunch can be taken at several restaurants on the slopes.
An old cobble-stoned village with attractive centre, Panticosa oozes charm and atmosphere. The ski lifts, where your equipment can be stored free of charge, are 350m away. Great sports complex nearby with swimming pool. 90km (1½ hours) from Pau in France and 145km (2½ hours) from Zaragoza.
